Hello! You've found Mrs. Greene's class website for English at Slauson Middle School!
This year will mark my twelfth year as a teacher. Prior to Slauson, I taught third, fourth, seventh, and eighth grade. I actually attended Ann Arbor Public Schools myself, graduating from Dicken Elementary, Slauson Middle, and Pioneer High. After high school I earned my bachelor's degree from Eastern Michigan and my master's degree from the University of Michigan (Go Blue!) I cannot wait to share my love of learning with you! Outside of school, I enjoy reading, cooking, playing sports, gardening, being outdoors, and spending time with my husband (Carl), son (Charlie), daughter (Paige), and rescue cat (Captain Jack Sparrow).
The best way to get in contact with me is via email at [email protected]. Grades will be updated weekly and can be checked on PowerSchool.
Homework Club: Do you need access to computers or a space to work on a project with friends? The Media Center is open after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Can't get a ride home from school? No problem. The late bus is available for students who attend Homework Club.
Free Tutoring: 826michigan is a non-profit organization that offers free writing support to students ages 6-18. Check them out!
